Gambling Harm

Addiction can have profound and far-reaching effects within the workplace. Employees affected by these issues may experience heightened stress, anxiety, and distraction, leading to reduced productivity, increased absenteeism, and a higher risk of errors or accidents—particularly in high-risk industries like oil and gas.

In ‘My Journey: Hidden Risks of Gambling Harm in the Energy Industry’, Reece Casey shares his story of a 15-year gambling addiction which led him to crime and suicidal thoughts at its lowest, before seeking help, finding the strength to overcome his addiction, and ultimately building a business to support others facing harmful addictions.
